Understanding Our Warranty Policy
  •  Coverage: Our warranty covers manufacturer defects in frames and lenses for a year after delivery.
  • Exclusions: It doesn't cover wear and tear, force/impact damage, or accidental damage.
  • Non-Covered Damages: This includes lens scratches, loose hinges, missing screws, broken frames, and detached parts like temple tips or nose pads.
  • Cosmetic Damage: Only covered if reported within 14 days of delivery and present from the start. After 14 days, it's considered wear and tear and not eligible for warranty or return.
  • Solution for Unavailable Products: If the same product is out of stock, we offer similar options or a refund.

Key Exclusions in Our Warranty

  • Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear of products is not covered under our warranty.
  • Unauthorized Repairs and Alterations: Any repairs or alterations not done by GIUSTIZIERI VECCHI are not covered.
  • Accidental Damage and Misuse: We do not cover losses or damages due to accidents or negligence.
  • Aesthetic Changes Post-Purchase: Alterations in design or colour after buying the product are not included.
  • Mishandling and Neglect: Damage from improper handling or neglect, such as scratches or lens crazing due to high temperatures, is not covered.
  • Natural Disasters: Damages caused by natural disasters are excluded from the warranty.
  • Non-GVecchi Purchases: Items not bought from Giustizieri Vecchi, such as frames or lenses bought separately, aren't covered.
  • Incorrect Prescription Submission: Issues arising from an incorrect prescription provided to us are not covered.
  • Change of Mind: We don’t offer refunds for changes of mind, so please choose carefully.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim
If you find a manufacturing defect within one year of delivery, please contact us via email for a one-time replacement. All claims are reviewed upon receiving a photo of the defect. If deemed defective, the product may be eligible for a one-time replacement.

This warranty provides extra benefits, in addition to any other rights or remedies available to you by law. Our products are covered by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, which entitles you to a replacement or refund in the event of a major failure. If the goods do not meet acceptable quality standards and the failure is not classified as a major failure, you may have them repaired or replaced.
